In 2005, 24 new coach bays were created around the city.  Plans are also underway to redevelop Sophia Gardens car park (close to the city centre), which currently offers 10 coach bays (£15 per day).  The plans include a secure parking area with driver facilities and a new water taxi stop, which will provide a direct transport link from the city centre to Cardiff Bay. 

 

There are coach setting-down and pick-up points near most of the city centre Attractions, with longer-term parking available close to the centre.
